Brothers Rojune Aldemo and Ezexiel de Asis were assigned to take the pulpit ministry every 5th Sunday of the month. For the 5th Sunday of June, Roj handled the adult bible class where he discussed Biblical Evangelism. He talked about the Lord’s two mandates for the church: Cultural Mandate and the Great Commission. His sermon in the morning service reinforced his lesson on evangelism, where he expounded the stoning of Stephen and how it led to the expansion of God’s kingdom through God’s work of providence. He titled his message as the “Bloody Providence”.

The construction of TBC’s new building ended on July 3. As a token of thanksgiving to the workers and Manong Fred, the foreman, some TBC women prepared a simple merienda for them. They brought pansit, Bonete bread, Sponge and French cake and pineapple and iced tea. The merienda table was set in the new building. Before eating, Brother Raymar prayed and thanked the laborers in behalf of TBC.

A Bible Study Center in Red V, Magdalena

0

Inay Rosing Lasco has inherited her  ancestral home  in Red V,  Baranggay Bungkol, Magdalena, Laguna. When it was given to her, the house was in sorry state. But  she loves the house so much that she spent time and money – not to mention muscle pains and fatique –  to have it repaired and painted. She and her husband, Tatay Delio, who is also a church member, travel there once a week to oversee the work.  Now that all repairs are done, the couple’s desire is for the house  to be a Bible Study Center. And their wish was granted. Brother Raymar started a Bible Study there last Saturday (June 21). Though mostly  children are attending,  the place is very promising…

TBC Members Pledged for Floor Tiling

0

The response of  church  members for  the call  of Pastor Rodel  to pledge for the tiling of the floor for the new church building was very heartwarming.  After the vesper service yesterday (June 22) members handed out their pledges, totalling to 170 meters of tiles. This means that only 30 meters of tiles are needed. Since some of the members have not given their pledges yet, Lord willing, all the 200 sqm of tiles will be covered. There is  no doubt that the church building will be fully completed in God’s perfect time. Praise be to God!

As the country was celebrating Independence Day (June 12), the women in the reformed churches gathered for fellowship and learning during the 2nd Women’s Conference in Cubao. It was sponsored by The Neighborhood Church (TNC) of Caloocan, with the topic: “Women of Virtue” as exemplified by Jochebed, Abigail, the widow who gave a mite, Esther and Dorcas. Each of the five speakers from different churches was assigned a woman of virtue to discuss. Sister Haydee of TBC, was tasked to talk about the generosity and compassionate heart of Dorcas.

Eighteen  (18) TBC sisters joined the conference. The deacons hired a van, and the trip provided another kind joyful fellowship for them. It was whole lot of fun and spiritual nourishment…

IMG_4565

Isn’t it Great!  Lord willing by  next month (July), TBC can meet in her new building. It will not be fully finished, but hopefully enough to make everyone comfortable. The roofing is installed and the walls are primed up for painting. The comfort room for women, the “cry room” and  the baptistry are already in place.   But there  is no more money for tiling, so Pastor Rodel made another all for pledges specifically for tiles. According to deacon Jojo, the entire flooring will need 200  sq meter of tiles, where each meter costs 600 pesos.  Considering  how God provided in the past,  tiling is not really a problem. God will…

IMG_0252

It was barely two months month ago when the construction of the church building began. Now TBC’s new church building is rising fast as new structure is added every week. Thanks to the dedicated service of Deacon Jojo and Brother Raymar who took the responsibility of overseeing the construction work:   The church is also blessed with diligent workers and able foreman, Manong Fred.

It was once a dream of the members to have a new church building that could accommodate the increasing number of attendees.  The church prayed for it, and God’s answer is now unfolding  before our eyes.  The church expects to hold the first service there by July even…

SAM_0451

Last April 13, Trinity Bible Church gave honor to the elderly members of the church and visitors through a mini-program that was held immediately after the morning worship. The children presented a poem and a song number. Pastor Allan gave a brief message  that challenged them that age does not matter in serving the Lord. To remind them that Christian life is like a plant that has to be nurtured, they were given a nice plant in a decorative pot. Present during the program were, Nanay Lucy, Nanay Ludy, Nanay Lumen, Nanay Delma ,  Tatay Fred ( foreman in church building construction) and a couple who attend the bible study of Pastor Ferdie in…
